Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field with valid New Jersey State certification in Special Education.
- Certifications Requirements:
- NJ DOE Certification in Middle School Special Education
- Highly Qualified in ELA and Math
- CPR and First Aid Certifications (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting
- Previous experience delivering push-in and pull-out special education services
- Experience navigating school-based IEP processes
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 7:10 AM - 3:30 PM
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working with a caseload of 5-8 students across middle school grades

- Provide specialized support for students with disabilities through push-in and pull-out services, ensuring individualized instruction meets IEP goals.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies tailored to diverse student needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, interventions, and compliance with IEP requirements.
- Monitor and assess student performance regularly to adjust instructional approaches and maximize learning outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing training sessions to ensure cohesive support and professional development.
