Special Education Teacher/Case Manager (2025-2026 School Year) – Colorado Springs, CO (80906) – Up to $48/hr

Elevate student success in the shadow of Pikes Peak! We’re seeking a Special Education Teacher/Case Manager for a full-time position in Colorado Springs (80906) for the 2025-2026 academic year. Job Details:

  • Position: Special Education Teacher/Case Manager (Full-Time)

  • Schedule: 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday, school hours)

  • Duration: August 2025 – May 2026

  • Pay Rate: Up to $48/hr (based on experience)

  • Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80906 (on-site)

Job Description:

  • Serve as primary case manager for student IEPs (K-12, dependent on assignment)

  • Provide direct instruction to students with mild/moderate disabilities

  • Lead IEP meetings and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families

  • Develop and monitor individualized goals and accommodations

  • Implement behavior intervention plans (CPI training preferred)

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

  • Advocate for inclusive practices and student success

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Special Education

  • Colorado Special Education License (or ability to obtain)

  • Proven experience with IEP case management (required)

  • CPI certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)

  • Knowledge of Colorado Academic Standards and IEP software

  • Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills
