Job Description:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and administrators to support students' learning and behavioral goals.
• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to meet students’ needs.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in various subjects.
• Participate in professional development and stay current with best practices in special education.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Indiana Teaching License with a Special Education endorsement.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
