Providing direct instruction tailored to students’ learning styles and abilities

Assessing student progress and adjusting teaching strategies as needed

Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

Promoting a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
Education and Certification Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

Valid Texas teaching certification in Special Education

Prior experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
