Job Description

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Extended School Year (ESY)

Location: Blackstone, MA
Dates: July 8 – July 31, 2025
Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Pay Rate: $35–$40/hr
Setting: In-person, school-based summer program

Connected Health Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support students during a structured Extended School Year (ESY) program in Blackstone, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who enjoys working with children and wants a part-time, consistent summer schedule.

Position Highlights:

  • Provide general school nursing support to students on site

  • Collaborate with special education staff and school administrators

  • Ensure students' medical needs are met during the school day (medications, minor injuries, general care)

  • Low-stress schedule – just 3 days per week, 3 hours per day

  • Positive, team-oriented environment

Requirements:

  • Active LPN license in Massachusetts

  • CPR certification

  • Experience in pediatric or school settings preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

This is a great opportunity for an LPN looking to stay active over the summer in a meaningful, supportive role.
