A school site in Blythe, California is seeking an in-person School Psychologist to conduct psychoeducational assessments for the remainder of the 2024–2025 school year. This is a short-term contract with potential for extension, ideal for a school-based professional looking to make an immediate impact.
Position Overview:

Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday)

In-person role at an elementary school (grades 1–5)

Approximately 12 students in need of assessment, averaging 4 per week

Assignment runs ASAP through June 6, 2025

Potential to extend into the 2025–2026 school year
Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations in a school-based setting

Write legally defensible reports and attend IEP meetings as needed

Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families
-
Support eligibility determinations and recommend evidence-based interventions
Qualifications:

Active California PPS Credential in School Psychology
-
Experience conducting assessments in school settings
-
Familiarity with IEP development and compliance standards
-
Strong organizational and communication skills
