Job Description:
As a School Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for:

Conducting speech and language assessments for students with various communication disorders.

Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.

Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure effective support for students.

Providing direct speech and language therapy services, both in groups and one-on-one.

Monitoring and tracking student progress and adjusting therapy as needed.

Participating in meetings to discuss student progress and provide updates on treatment plans.

Creating and maintaining detailed records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
Education and Certification Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Current State of Texas Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.

Prior experience in a school or educational setting is a plus.

Ability to work effectively with children, families, and school staff.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
