36-Week Contract | Up to $58/hr | Educational Setting

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a local opportunity near Dallas, TX. This position is for one of our trusted Educational Services partners and offers a fulfilling role supporting students and enhancing communication skills in a collaborative school-based environment.

Position Highlights:

  • Contract Length: 36 weeks

  • Weekly Compensation: Up to $58/hr, based on experience

  • Schedule: Full-time, school calendar

  • Location: Dallas, TX and surrounding area

  • Setting: Educational / School-based

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support Speech Language Pathologists in the assessment and treatment of communication disorders

  • Assist in implementing speech therapy plans and documenting student progress

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student goals

  • Provide direct therapy services under SLP supervision

  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student performance

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions when required

  • Uphold professional ethics and standards of practice in an educational setting

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

  • Current Texas licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

  • Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
