Job Description

Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations to identify student learning needs and eligibility for special education services

Develop, interpret, and present evaluation results in ARD/IEP meetings
-
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning plans
-
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines for assessments and documentation
-
Monitor student progress and recommend strategies for academic achievement
-
Provide consultative support to school staff regarding instructional accommodations and interventions
Education and Certification Requirements
-
Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field
-
Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification required
-
Previous school-based experience strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of federal and state special education laws and evaluation procedures

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
