Location: Hampshire, IL (60140)
Contract Length: Duration of 2025-26 School Year
Compensation: Up to $58/hr based on experience

Job Description:

Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in students.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals.

Provide direct therapy services (individual/group) and consultative support to teachers and staff.

Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and parents to integrate speech-language goals into students’ academic plans.
-
Recommend and train staff on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools as needed.

Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and therapy sessions.
-
Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations for student support.

Stay updated on evidence-based practices in school-based speech-language pathology.
Education & Certification Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent).

Active Illinois SLP License (or proof of pending licensure).
-
ASHA CCC-SLPÂ preferred (Clinical Fellows considered with supervision).
-
Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement (or ability to obtain).

Experience in school settings is a plus but not required.
