Local Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – Katy, TX
Contract Length: 36 Weeks | Compensation: Up to $43/hr (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is partnering with a valued Educational Services client to find a talented Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a local school-based opportunity in Katy, TX. Position Overview
The SLPA will work closely with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to provide speech and language services to students with communication challenges.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP

  • Provide direct speech-language services to students in individual or group settings

  • Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records

  • Support assessments and evaluations as directed

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success

  • Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

  • Current SLPA license or certification in the state of Texas

  • Prior experience in school settings preferred but not required

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
