School Psychologist (2025-2026 School Year) – Orland Park, IL (60462) – Up to $68/hr

Job Details:

  • Positions Available:

  • Early Childhood Psychologist (PreK-2nd)

  • Middle School Psychologist (Grades 6-8)

  • Schedule: 37.5 hours/week (Monday–Friday, school hours)

  • Duration: August 2025 – May 2026

  • Pay Rate: Up to $68/hr (based on experience)

  • Location: Orland Park, IL 60462 (on-site)

    Job Description:

  • Conduct developmental, cognitive, and social-emotional assessments

  • Provide individual/group counseling and crisis intervention

  • Develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and MTSS strategies

  • Participate in IEP/504 meetings and eligibility determinations

  • Collaborate with teachers on SEL curriculum implementation

  • Support early childhood developmental milestones (PreK-2nd role)

  • Guide middle school transition planning (Grades 6-8 role)

  • Maintain confidential records per Illinois regulations

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology

  • Illinois PEL with School Psychologist endorsement (or eligibility)

  • NASP certification preferred

  • Experience with assigned age group (early childhood or adolescents)

  • Knowledge of RTI/MTSS frameworks

  • Strong data analysis and consultation skills
