Speech Language Pathologist – Orting, WA
Contract Length: 36 Weeks | Weekly Pay: Up to $2,600 or $65/hr (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is partnering with a welcoming school district near Orting, Washington, to hire a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Use your expertise to help students develop critical communication skills and succeed academically and socially.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care

  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation

  • Conduct group and one-on-one therapy sessions

  • Educate and support school staff on speech and language-related topics

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Current Washington State SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; CFY welcome to apply

  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Contract Details

  • Length: 36 weeks

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

  • Compensation: Up to $2,600/week or $65/hour, based on experience

  • Start Date: August 2025
