Job Description

Special Education Teacher – Providence, RI
$50/hour | Full-Time | 2025–2026 School Year

Connected Health Care is seeking qualified Special Education Teachers for school-based positions in the Providence, RI area.

Position Details:

  • Start Date: August 2025

  • Hourly Rate: $50/hour

  • Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

  • Caseload: To be determined based on candidate experience and district needs

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

  • Provide specialized instruction tailored to student needs

  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff

  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports

  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Rhode Island Special Education Certification

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education

  • Experience with IEP development and implementation

  • Strong classroom management skills
