Occupational Therapist (OT) – Springfield, MA
Full-Time | Hourly Compensation: Up to $55/hr | School-Based Setting
Connected Health Care is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for a public school district in Springfield, MA. If you are an OT who is passionate about helping students reach their full potential, this is the perfect role for you!
Job Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and screenings to identify students who require occupational therapy.

Develop and implement individualized interventions focusing on fine motor skills, sensory integration, handwriting, and self-care.

Collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals, and therapy teams to create an inclusive learning environment.

Provide direct therapy sessions to students, as well as consult with teachers and families.
-
Use adaptive equipment and assistive technology to support student participation in the classroom.

Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans.
-
Educate school staff and caregivers on occupational therapy strategies for everyday success.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Massachusetts OT License required.
-
Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
-
Experience in school-based or pediatric therapy preferred.
-
Familiarity with sensory processing strategies and motor skill development.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.
