Location: Laveen Village, Arizona
Contract Duration: 18 weeks
Compensation: Up To $51/Hour Based on Experience

Job Requirements

  • Education Requirements: Valid IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card; Certification in Special Education or equivalent
  • Certifications Requirements: Must hold a valid IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card at all times
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year in special education or related field
  • Other Requirements: Sped Certification, ability to work collaboratively in a team, commitment to student success, and compliance with facility policies. Must be able to work a 40-hour week, days schedule, with flexibility to float if necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies
  • Monitor and assess students’ progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed
  • Manage classroom behavior to foster a safe and productive learning environment
  • Document student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders
