Special Education Teacher – Near Spokane, WA
Contract Length: 36 Weeks | Weekly Pay: Up to $1,875 or $50/hr (Based on Experience)

Position Overview
This role involves creating and implementing individualized learning plans for students with diverse needs while fostering collaboration with general education staff, families, and service providers.
Job Responsibilities

Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Adapt general education curriculum to meet student-specific needs

Deliver specialized instruction in a small group or 1:1 setting

Collect data and assess student progress toward IEP goals

Maintain accurate documentation and comply with IDEA regulations

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and parents to ensure student success

Promote a safe and supportive classroom environment for all learners
Education & Certification Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement

Prior experience in a school or educational setting preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
