Special Education Teacher – Near Grants Pass, OR
Contract: 36 Weeks | Up to $2,062.50 Weekly or $55/hr (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a trusted leader in Healthcare and Educational Services staffing, is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to join a dedicated school district team near Grants Pass, Oregon. This is a rewarding 36-week contract role offering excellent pay and the opportunity to impact students' lives in a supportive educational setting.

Position Overview
As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll provide individualized instruction and support to help students with learning challenges reach their full potential. You’ll work in a collaborative, student-focused environment committed to inclusion and educational equity.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

  • Deliver tailored instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students

  • Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals

  • Modify general education curriculum as needed for individual students

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and parents to support student development

  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student needs and strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field

  • Valid Oregon Teaching License with Special Education endorsement

  • Experience with IEP development and implementation

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Dedication to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment

Contract Details

  • Length: 36 weeks

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

  • Compensation: Up to $2,062.50 weekly or $55/hr, depending on experience

  • Start Date: August 2025 (aligned with the upcoming school year)
