Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Valid North Carolina Teaching Certification in Special Education (K-12) or equivalent
- Certifications Requirements: State Sped certification, CPR and First Aid certifications, Adaptive Curriculum training (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of special education teaching experience with moderate intellectual disabilities
- Other Requirements: Ability to work on-site daily, strong classroom management skills, excellent communication skills, patience and adaptability

- Develop and implement individualized education plans aligned with adapted curriculum standards for students with moderate intellectual disabilities.
- Provide effective instruction and support to students in a classroom setting, utilizing adaptive curriculum and differentiated teaching strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech, occupational, and behavioral specialists, to support student needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, maintaining accurate documentation and reports.
