Job Description

Special Education Teacher Opportunity Near Berlin, NH – 36-Week Contract | Up to $1,875/Week

Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract position near Berlin, NH. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students' lives while enjoying the beauty of New Hampshire’s Great North Woods region. Competitive weekly compensation up to $1,875, based on experience.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.

  • Provide direct instruction in academic, social, and life skills.

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to support student success.

  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.

  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.

Education + Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.

  • Valid New Hampshire Special Education Certification (or ability to obtain).

  • Experience working with students with disabilities (preferred).

  • Strong communication, patience, and adaptability.
