Special Education Teacher – Cherry Hill, NJ

Hourly Compensation: $50/hr | Full-Time

Connected Health Care is actively seeking a Special Education Teacher to join a dedicated school district in Cherry Hill, NJ. This position offers an opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting students with diverse learning needs in a structured and inclusive educational setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs.

• Provide direct instruction and intervention in a resource or self-contained classroom.

• Adapt lesson plans and curriculum to align with students’ IEP goals.

• Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), differentiated instruction, and assistive technology to enhance learning.

• Implement behavior management strategies to create a structured and supportive classroom environment.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to develop student success plans.

• Conduct ongoing assessments to track progress and make necessary adjustments to instruction.

• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development workshops.

• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• New Jersey Special Education certification required.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Education, or related field.

• Experience working in inclusive, self-contained, or resource room settings preferred.

• Strong understanding of IEP development, classroom modifications, and student-centered instruction.

• Knowledge of ABA strategies, behavior intervention plans, and progress monitoring tools.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support student success.
