Special Education Teacher – Groton, CT

$50/hr | Full-Time | 2025–2026 School Year

A supportive school district in Groton, Connecticut is hiring Special Education Teachers for the 2025–2026 academic year. This full-time, onsite position is ideal for educators passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

Position Details

  • Start Date: August/September 2025

  • Location: Groton, CT

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

  • Pay Rate: $50/hour

  • Duration: Full 2025–2026 school year

  • Caseload & Setting: Assigned based on certification area and school needs (elementary, middle, or high school)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver instruction and support in alignment with IEP goals

  • Modify curriculum and implement differentiated strategies

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families

  • Maintain compliance with special education regulations

  • Participate in IEP meetings and progress reporting

Requirements
