Contract Length: 36 Weeks | Weekly Compensation: Up to $1,875 (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) to join an esteemed Educational Services client in Hartford, CT. Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to accommodate various learning styles.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student progress.
• Utilize data-driven methods to assess student performance and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Connecticut state certification/licensure as a Special Education Teacher (or ability to obtain).
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
