Connected Health Care is partnering with a dynamic school district in Jersey City, NJ, to hire a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. Position Details

• Location: Jersey City, New Jersey

• Schedule: Full-time, onsite only

• Hourly Rate: $50/hour

• Contract Duration: Full academic year, 2025–2026

• Setting: May include resource (RSP) or self-contained (SDC) classrooms

• Grade Levels: Elementary, middle, or high school placement based on fit

What You’ll Do

• Provide differentiated instruction aligned with each student's IEP

• Support students’ academic and behavioral growth through individualized strategies

• Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and collaboration with families

• Work closely with general education staff and related service providers

• Foster an inclusive, engaging classroom environment that supports all learners

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey Special Education Certification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field

• Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills

• School-based experience preferred but not required
