$50/hour | Full-Time | 2025–2026 School Year
Connected Health Care is seeking qualified Special Education Teachers for school-based positions in the Newport, RI area.
Position Details:

Start Date:Â August 2025

Hourly Rate:Â $50/hour

Schedule:Â Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

Caseload:Â To be determined based on candidate experience and district needs
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Provide specialized instruction tailored to student needs

Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff

Maintain accurate records and progress reports
-
Foster an inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:

Rhode Island Special Education Certification
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education

Experience with IEP development and implementation

Strong classroom management skills
