Connected Health Care is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to join a well-supported school district in Stamford, CT for the 2025–2026 school year. Position Details

• Location: Stamford, Connecticut

• Schedule: Full-time, onsite

• Hourly Rate: $50/hour

• Contract Length: Full 2025–2026 academic year

• Classroom Type: May include resource (RSP) or self-contained (SDC) settings

• Grade Levels: Ranges from elementary through high school

What You’ll Do

• Deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals

• Support student success in both academic and social-emotional development

• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families

• Conduct IEP meetings, monitor progress, and maintain documentation

• Provide accommodations and modifications to help students access the curriculum

Requirements

• Valid Connecticut Special Education Certification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Experience in school settings preferred, but not required
