Special Education Teacher – Torrington, CT

Hourly Compensation: $50/hr

Connected Health Care is seeking a Special Education Teacher for an Educational Services client in Torrington, CT.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction based on student needs and IEPs

  • Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavioral supports

  • Work closely with support staff and general education teachers

  • Document student progress and intervention outcomes

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Connecticut Special Education Teaching Certification required

  • Experience working with students in self-contained or inclusive settings

  • Strong knowledge of IEPs, behavioral interventions, and instructional strategies
