Position: Special Education Teacher (Elementary Center Based Program)Â

Contract Length:Â Remainder of 24-25 School Year
Compensation: Up to $57/hr based on experience

Job Description:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Create and maintain a supportive and structured classroom environment.
- Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students' success.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Provide emotional and behavioral support to students.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- All candidates must have Colorado Department of Education licenses, or be able to prove that licensure is pending. Â
