Special Education Teacher (Grades 2–3, Intensive Resource Room)
Location: Wilbraham, MA
Pay Rate: $55/hr | Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join a supportive team in Wilbraham, MA. This full-time position focuses on working with students in Grades 2 and 3 within an Intensive Resource Room (IRR) program.
The IRR program serves students on the autism spectrum and/or with developmental disabilities who benefit from direct, explicit instruction in a structured, small-group environment. The ideal candidate will bring experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies—including Discrete Trial Training (DTT)—and familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems.
We are looking for an educator who thrives on collaboration, values individualized instruction, and uses data-driven practices to foster academic and social growth.
Requirements:

MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Licensure in one of the following:

Moderate Disabilities PreK–2
-
Moderate Disabilities PreK–8
-
Severe Needs (All Levels)
Experience working with students with autism and developmental disabilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
