Job Description

Special Education Teacher (Contract) – Woodbridge, CT
Pay Rate: $55/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Start Date: Early November 2025
End Date: June 2026

Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract role in Woodbridge, Connecticut, for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a unique two-part assignment that offers the opportunity to work with a variety of students and settings.

Assignment Details:

  • November – March 30, 2026

    • Location: Amity Transition Academy @ Albertus Magnus College

    • Student Age Group: 18–22 years old

    • Focus: Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and community vocational skills

    • Caseload: Fewer than 10 students

  • March 30 – June 2026

    • Location: Amity Regional High School (Woodbridge, CT)

    • Classroom: Low-functioning program

    • Caseload: Fewer than 10 students

Requirements:

  • Valid CT Special Education Teaching Certification

  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

  • Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
