Speech Language Pathologist – Near Baker City, OR
Contract: 36 Weeks | Up to $2,250 Weekly or $60/hr (Based on Experience)
2025–2026 School Year | Partnered with a Local School District

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 36-week contract opportunity near Baker City, Oregon. Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced or new graduate SLP passionate about helping children improve their communication skills and thrive in educational settings. This school-based position allows you to make a lasting impact while enjoying the flexibility of contract work.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress

  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support IEP goals

  • Ensure compliance with IDEA, state regulations, and district protocols

  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and evaluations

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

  • Active Oregon SLP license (or eligibility)

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred

  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is a plus

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Contract Details

  • Length: 36 weeks

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

  • Compensation: Up to $2,250/week or $60/hr, based on experience

  • Start Date: August 2025
