Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Paterson, NJ
Hourly Compensation: $65-$67/hr | Full-Time
Connected Health Care is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a diverse and dynamic school district in Paterson, NJ. This position offers the chance to support students of all ages in developing vital communication skills, enabling them to succeed academically and socially.
Job Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic assessments to identify speech and language disorders.

Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on students’ IEP goals.
-
Work closely with teachers, psychologists, and special education teams to integrate speech goals into the classroom setting.
-
Address articulation, phonology, fluency, voice, and language development challenges through targeted interventions.
-
Utilize assistive communication devices and technology to support students with nonverbal communication needs.
-
Provide group and one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to student needs.
-
Monitor progress and adjust interventions using data-driven analysis and regular evaluations.

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to ensure comprehensive student support.

Train and educate teachers and families on best practices to foster language development at home and in school.
Qualifications & Requirements:

New Jersey SLP license and ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required.

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.

Experience working with preschool through high school students preferred.

Strong understanding of IEP development, assistive technology, and intervention strategies.

Ability to work collaboratively with educators and support staff.
