Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Trenton, NJ

Hourly Compensation: $65-$67/hr | Full-Time

Connected Health Care is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide critical speech and language support to students in Trenton, NJ. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to enhance communication skills and foster academic success for students with speech and language disorders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to evaluate students’ communication abilities.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.

  • Provide direct therapy services to students with articulation, fluency, voice, and expressive/receptive language disorders.

  • Collaborate with special education teachers, occupational therapists, and psychologists to create well-rounded support plans.

  • Implement AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices for students requiring alternative communication methods.

  • Monitor student progress through data collection, reports, and ongoing assessments.

  • Participate in IEP meetings to provide insight into students' speech-language needs and progress.

  • Educate and train teachers, staff, and parents on effective strategies to support speech and language development in the classroom and at home.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • New Jersey SLP license and ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required.

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.

  • Experience working in school settings preferred but not required.

  • Familiarity with IEP development, assistive technology, and evidence-based interventions.

  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
