Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Johnston, RI

Contract Length: October 1, 2025 – May 1, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, onsite – typical school hours
Hourly rate: 65/hr + BONUS

Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated Speech?Language Pathologist to cover a maternity leave in a supportive K–5 environment in Johnston, Rhode Island. This full-time assignment is ideal for experienced SLPs looking for an opportunity to make a substantial impact across multiple grade levels.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services aligned with IEP goals for students K - 5

  • Conduct evaluations and progress monitoring in accordance with state and federal guidelines

  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to ensure cohesive student support

  • Participate in IEP meetings, case consultations, and multidisciplinary team planning

  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with educational and professional standards

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech?Language Pathology from an accredited institution

  • Active Rhode Island SLP License (or in?process) with CCC-SLP preferred

  • Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
