Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Educational Setting
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Contract Length: 36 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $2,015/week (based on experience)

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is partnering with a reputable school district in the Albuquerque area to find a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 36-week contract. Job Description:

  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and student progress

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations for interventions

  • Utilize evidence-based practices to support student learning and development

  • Conduct screenings and assessments to identify students in need of speech-language support

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution

  • Current New Mexico SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, CFs welcome to apply

  • Prior experience in a school-based setting is a plus

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
