$60–$65/hr | Full-Time | Middle School | May–June 2025 | Possible Extension
Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a short-term school-based assignment in the South Kingstown School District. This position will run from mid-May through June 23, 2025, with a strong possibility of extension into the 2025–2026 school year. The SLP will work with a supportive team to serve students in grades 5–8.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:15 AM – 2:15 PM (flexible: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM possible)

Assignment Duration: Mid-May – June 23, 2025

Hourly Rate: $60–$65/hr, depending on experience

Caseload: Students in grades 5–8

Extension: Strong potential for 2025–2026 school year continuation
Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct speech-language therapy services aligned with IEP goals

Address a range of communication needs, including articulation, fluency, language, and pragmatics

Collaborate with teachers, families, and IEP teams to support student outcomes

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

Participate in year-end evaluations and contribute to transition planning
Requirements

Active Rhode Island SLP License (Required)

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Required)

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred

Experience in a school setting strongly preferred

Availability to start mid-May and remain through June 23, with interest in extension
