Full-Time Operating Room Tech - Near Gallup, NM
Schedule: Full-Time | Call Required

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing agency, is partnering with a top-tier hospital near Gallup, New Mexico to find a dedicated and detail-oriented Operating Room (OR) Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a collaborative surgical team in a state-of-the-art operating environment.

Job Description:

  • Assist surgeons and nurses during all types of surgical procedures

  • Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment

  • Ensure a sterile field and follow proper infection control practices

  • Maintain accurate counts of surgical tools and supplies before, during, and after procedures

  • Transport patients to and from the operating room

  • Clean and restock ORs between cases
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred

  • BLS certification required (American Heart Association)

  • 1+ years of experience in the OR setting preferred

  • Strong understanding of surgical aseptic techniques
