Job Summary: Connected Health Care is actively searching for a Surgical Services Nurse Manager to oversee Pre-Op, PACU, Endo, and PAT departments. In this role, you will provide leadership and expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient care in a surgical environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and take responsibility for the delivery of safe, quality patient care in assigned departments on a 24-hour basis.
• Ensure that nursing practices, policies, and procedures in your department align with legal, accrediting, and regulatory agency requirements.
• Promote continuity of care by utilizing an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care.
• Collaborate and communicate relevant patient information with physicians, patients, and the healthcare team regarding patient progress and treatment.
• Develop and implement programs to measure, monitor, assess, and enhance the quality of nursing care, contributing to hospital-wide improvements in core measures, patient safety, and service excellence in assigned units.
• Effectively coordinate patient care with other hospital services and departments.

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse, in accordance with state regulations.
• Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• 3 years of surgical services experience, including pre-op, PACU, ENDO, and PAT.
• 2 years of ICU experience.
• Management experience in an acute care setting.
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in PC skills.
