Job Summary:
Connected Healthcare is partnering with a facility in Waynesboro, GA, to hire a dedicated Surgical Technologist. In this role, you'll work closely with the surgical team to ensure that operating rooms are prepared and that surgical procedures run smoothly. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of the surgical department and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, holding retractors, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Ensure proper sterilization and organization of instruments and supplies.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of surgical supplies.
- Support patient care by ensuring all necessary materials are available for procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures, instruments, and supplies used.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
- Experience in a surgical setting is highly desirable.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
