Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Critical Access Hospital
Location: Near Jefferson, Iowa
Contract: 13 Weeks | Schedule: 3x12s | Shifts: Day & Night
Pay: Up to $1,900/week
Start Date: ASAP

Connected Health Care, a nationally recognized recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a Travel LPN to join a dedicated team at a critical access hospital near Jefferson, Iowa. This is an excellent opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse looking to expand their clinical experience while enjoying the charm of rural healthcare and Midwest living.

Job Description:

As a Travel LPN, you will play an essential role in providing patient-centered care under the supervision of RNs and physicians. This includes:

  • Administering medications and injections

  • Monitoring patient health and vital signs

  • Assisting with patient hygiene and mobility

  • Maintaining accurate patient records

  • Communicating with interdisciplinary team members

  • Supporting both acute and long-term care patient needs

Requirements:

  • Active LPN license (Iowa or Compact State)

  • Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience, preferably in a hospital setting

  • BLS certification (AHA required)

  • Ability to work both day and night shifts as scheduled

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program

Contract Details:

  • 13-week assignment

  • Critical access hospital setting

  • 3x12s, rotating day and night shifts

  • Competitive pay – up to $1,900/week (based on experience and shift)

  • Travel and housing stipends available
