TRAVEL/LOCAL CONTRACT - LTC Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) PRN
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a long-term care facility. The CNA will provide essential care and support to residents with chronic illnesses, disabilities, and age-related conditions. This role involves helping residents maintain their dignity and quality of life through assistance with daily activities and close attention to their personal care needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.

Assist with mobility, including transferring residents between beds and wheelchairs, repositioning, and walking support.
-
Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure) and report changes in condition to the nursing staff.
-
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and observations in accordance with facility policies.
-
Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs to ensure safety and comfort.
-
Assist with serving meals and monitoring food and fluid intake.
-
Promote a safe, clean, and supportive environment by following infection control protocols and proper hygiene practices.

Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping foster a sense of community.
-
Follow care plans and communicate any concerns or unusual observations to nursing staff.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program.
-
Active CNA certification in [Insert State].

CPR certification (preferred or required by the facility).

Prior experience in long-term care or geriatric care is highly preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
