Job Description:

As a Telemetry Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare by educating and mentoring nursing staff, ensuring they provide top-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching Excellence: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for telemetry nurses to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
• Clinical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in telemetry nursing, providing guidance and support to staff.
• Assessment & Evaluation: Assess and evaluate staff performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing tailored educational plans.
• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the nursing leadership team to create and update educational materials to meet the evolving needs of the department.
• Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Current RN license in California.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Certification in Telemetry Nursing (e.g., CCRN) strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in telemetry nursing.
• Previous education or preceptor experience is required.
