Contract Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – 13-Week Assignment – Ellensburg, WA
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week contract assignment near Ellensburg, Washington. This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside a collaborative surgical team in a supportive, traveler-friendly environment with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time role after the contract.
Job Description

Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures in accordance with hospital standards
-
Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operations while ensuring patient safety and sterile techniques
-
Manage operating room setup, instrumentation, and equipment functionality
-
Monitor patient vitals and respond to intraoperative complications or emergencies
-
Collaborate with perioperative staff to maintain smooth patient flow and positive outcomes
-
Support and educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery
Education & Certification Requirements
-
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required)
-
Active Washington RN license (compact license accepted)
-
BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR certification preferred
-
Minimum of 1 year of OR experience (scrub and circulating experience strongly preferred)
