About the Role:

Connected Health Care is partnering with a prominent healthcare provider north of Houston, TX, to offer a Local Temp-to-Perm Physical Therapist position. This opportunity provides a 13-week contract with the potential for permanent placement, making it an ideal choice for experienced physical therapists looking for both stability and a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and create treatment plans for patients with physical impairments or disabilities.
• Administer physical therapy treatments and interventions according to established protocols and patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in professional development and continuing education to stay current with industry standards.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapy license in Texas or eligibility for Texas licensure.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Board Certification in a specialty area of physical therapy preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
