We are currently partnering with a healthcare provider in Eureka, California, to find a skilled Temp to Perm Nurse Practitioner (NP). Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Eureka, CA. The selected provider will have the opportunity to extend their contract after the initial term, with a potential for full-time employment. This is a great chance to enjoy a fulfilling role while experiencing the natural beauty of Northern California.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in a primary care or outpatient setting.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and diagnostic testing.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient conditions and healthcare goals.
  • Prescribe medications, order tests, and provide follow-up care as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals.
  • Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Educate patients and families on health management, preventative care, and wellness practices.
  • Adhere to all state regulations, facility policies, and industry best practices.

Contract Length & Compensation:

  • Contract Length: 13-26 weeks with potential for extension or transition to full-time.
  • Weekly Compensation: Up to $5,920 per week, based on experience.

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensed in California or eligible for licensure.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Physician Assistant Studies, or a related field.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or primary care setting preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
