Connected Health Care is seeking a Temp to Perm Physician Assistant for a 13-week contract with a leading healthcare provider near Arcata, CA. Job Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging.
• Prescribe medications and provide follow-up care.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records while ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and wellness strategies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Active California PA license (or eligibility for reciprocity).
• Board certification as a PA (NCCPA).
• DEA license (or willingness to obtain).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred).
• Minimum of one year of PA experience (preferred).
• Strong clinical skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
