Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Temp to Perm
Location: Lovington, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Temp to Perm Opportunity)
Compensation: Up to $2,700 per week (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a Temp to Perm opportunity with one of our trusted healthcare partners in Lovington, NM. This position offers a great balance between professional growth and personal fulfillment while exploring the beautiful Southwest.
Job Description:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility and state regulations.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to review and update care plans.
- Utilize evidence-based therapy approaches to maximize patient outcomes.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing, rehab, or acute care setting preferred.
