About the Role:

Connected Health Care is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist for a Local Temp-to-Perm position north of Houston, TX. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Implement and manage therapeutic interventions to improve speech, language, and cognitive-communication abilities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and therapists, to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies and exercises to support ongoing therapy and improvement.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and therapy outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and progress.
• Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Speech-Language Pathology license in Texas or eligibility for Texas licensure.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a clinical or educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
