Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,800 per week, based on experience

About the Role:

Connected Health Care is partnering with a leading healthcare provider in Trinity, TX, to offer a Local Temp-to-Perm Speech Language Pathologist position. This 13-week contract provides an excellent opportunity for experienced speech language pathologists to transition into a permanent role while enjoying competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance speech, language, and cognitive-communication skills.
  • Collaborate with physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and strategies to support ongoing progress.
  • Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care discussions.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in speech-language pathology through continuing education.

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current Speech-Language Pathology license in Texas or eligibility for Texas licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a clinical or educational setting.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
