Job Description

Contract Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – 13-Week Assignment – Ellensburg, WA

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an exciting 13-week contract near Ellensburg, Washington. This opportunity offers competitive pay, a collaborative team environment, and the option to transition into a permanent role upon completion of the assignment.

Job Description

  • Provide respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic evaluations for patients across all age groups

  • Operate, maintain, and monitor ventilators, oxygen equipment, and related medical devices

  • Assess and document patients’ respiratory conditions, implementing appropriate treatment plans

  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure coordinated patient care

  • Respond to medical emergencies, including Code Blue situations

  • Educate patients and families on proper respiratory care and home therapy practices

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s)

  • Current Washington State RRT license (CRT considered with strong experience)

  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent respiratory therapy experience, preferably in an acute or critical care setting
